We all remember the time when we tried to be “good” in the weeks before Christmas so we wouldn’t be on Santa’s naughty list. So it’s no surprise that the administration is delaying doing many actions until after the midterms, things from sicing debt collectors on folks that owe student loans to kicking LOTS more people off their health insurance coverage. The White House is scrambling for lawyers to cover them if the midterms don’t go their way. The Demented Toddler is sniveling up to Putin by funding the war in Ukraine by making it easier for Putin to sell the U/S previously banned oil. So much corruption and underhanded dealing, just so Santa might put the GOP on the naughty list, but I’m thinking it might be too late.

It’s the economy Stupid is obviously a byword for

those of us affected by the economy, so it’s quite interesting that there doesn’t seem to be anyone in the administration that thinks that this applies to them. Unnecessary relining and painting of the reflecting, pasting golden gegaws all over the white house and gilding statues all over D.C., taking over the Kennedy Center and trying to plaster the Demented Toddler’s name on it, building a Triumphal Arch at the front gate of Arlington a National Military grave site. Austerity for thee but not for me seems to the GOP’s watchword.
